Shadows

A little elevation can add a great deal of depth as the shadows appear, lengthen and retreat through the day

During our wonderful family Christmas spent in the town of Hoi An in Vietnam, I was reminded of our Maiden Castle walk as the shadows caught my eye in a local restaurant.

Interesting shadow presence, calmly repeated and then echoed by the strong verticals at the window.
