Winter Has Arrived! 21 Nov Written By Sarah Talbot Watching your own personal space transform as the seasons change is one of the true pleasures a garden can offer. A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to catch the first frost of the year as I sipped a coffee on my back doorstep. It won’t hang around for long, but it really was a wonderful way to start the day. I knew it wouldn’t be long until winter really took hold! Sure enough, this morning, branches are heavy and dipping with the weight of 2024’s first snow fall. The hedgehogs will be safely huddled up in their burrows, but the garden stays lively with the sounds of visiting birds.I’ll stay warm and enjoy this view from the comfort of my toasty warm kitchen, with a coffee and pair of my thickest socks!
